Artist Statement
I believe in the magic that takes place in the process of artmaking. I believe in the struggle; I believe in the growth. I have come to find first-hand that art is a reflection of ourselves. It teaches us that everything we need to create the extraordinary is within us, and everything we do not know is in our reach through our own capabilities of research and exploration.
Throughout my time at CSU, I have taken extensive Art History courses, Drawing, Figure Drawing, Painting, 2D Fundamentals, 3D Fundamentals, Pottery, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Woodshop, Metalsmithing/ Jewelry Making, and emphasized in Fiber Arts.
